Brief Bio
I have had a deep passion for music since I was 10 years old when I first got a keyboard for my birthday and started to compose simple melodies.
Since then I have encompassed a vast variety of influences including Rock, Dance, Classical, Jazz, Pop and Reggae to name just a few.
I have studied composition for the media to degree level.
I enjoy a wide variety of music from Mahler to Metallica.
I am accomplished at writing music across a wide range of genres and I have put together many compositions within my website www.matthewsmusic.com
My ambition is to compose for the media and this is what I am working towards. I feel I only need the opportunity to prove myself.
I teach music theory, keyboard, guitar and ukulele 1 to 1 locally and at home.

Level 8 theory (highest) with the Assoctiated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABRSM)
BA (Honours) Degree in Professional Media (TV and Film) composition.
Level 8 in Keyboard
HND in Music Production
ND in Music Technology
Kodaly Trained
I have a full DRB check certificate
